"Middleman" (from my album From the Echo) was just featured on the HBO film "Mary and Martha" with Hilary Swank! (Check the channel as they're replaying it a good bit.) And what else have I been up to? Writing music for a couple of national commercials, writing and recording a song for a book trailer for a super rad book coming out next spring, experimenting with my new home studio, cowriting with some killer writers, and working on material for the next album. So, you know, been a little busy... I've also been rehearsing for the May 11 show at Witzend in Venice. 7pm. I've got a violinist/celloist and a pianist joining me for this one which I'm stoked about. There will be lots of sweet harmonies, me braving it on the piano for a couple tunes and some new arrangements and new songs. Freakin' excited.

Thanks West Coast for a great tour of shows! There was snow, steamy pot pies, crazy-good house concerts, 3-part harmonies, double rainbows and some sweet songwriting in between. This week is a combination of hibernation mode and songwriting/demo recording. Yay! And by the way, there's only a few hard-copy "Silver Line" EPs left so swing over to the Music page to grab one.

It's EP Release Day!! The new EP "Silver Line" is now available for purchase right here on the website (and nowhere else with the exception of live shows!) -- 6 brand new original tunes recorded with Jim Greer over at Ninth Street Opus studios. I'm proud to share this new release -- I hope you love it! I'm doing a few West Coast tour dates and I'll have these on the road with me as well, so please come out if you're in one of the cities on the tour and spread the word to friends.
